Ethiopiaid, one of the UK’s leading charities working in Ethiopia, is partnering with Ethio Cycling Holidays to stage a challenging four-day bike ride in the highlands of Ethiopia in October 2020. Named E300 the event challenges riders to ride 300 miles over 4 days in stunning mountain scenery and aims to raise thousands of pounds to support Ethiopiaid’s local Ethiopian partners who are working to improve the lives of the country’s poorest and most vulnerable communities.
Last year Ethiopiaid celebrated its 30th year of work in Ethiopia, having started work in October 1989 with an initial investment by its founder Sir Alec Reed.
The challenge is open to a range of cycling abilities – you can even team up with a partner to cover the distance. For more information participants can call the Ethiopiaid office on 01225 476385 or click here.
