21-year old Ethiopian cyclist Mulu Kinfe Hailemicheal won the second stage of the 2020 Tour of Rwanda in the town of Huye yesterday. Riding for the Nippo Delpo team Kinfe sprinted to victory at the end of the 120km stage ahead of a big bunch of almost 50 riders. Kinfe now lies 9th in the GC standings.

Kinfe made his Tour of Rwanda debut at the age of nineteen in 2018 and sprang to fame in the same year by claiming the King of the Mountain award, showing Ethiopia’s prowess on the tough mountain stages.
